Onion Jangajji

If you tasted these delicious pickled onions last September in the Kimchi Box Korean BBQ special, you probably have emailed me three times already to know if I could make more. I do listen. It just takes me time to organise everything.

Here they are, delicious slices of onions pickled in sweet soy sauce and vinegar, with slices of chillies for a nice kick. Absolutely addictive! Considered yourself warned!

They are perfect eaten with grilled meat, in a burger, with a cheeseboard. Just on top of rice or noodles. And the sauce is perfect for dipping mandoo, gyoza, pajeon, dumplings. Or if you are adept of shabu shabu, this works too !

 

INGREDIENTS :

Onions, SOY sauce (contains WHEAT) , vinagar, sugar, water, chillies.

Made in an environment that may handle nuts, gluten, oats.

WEIGHT: 250g + a generous amount of sauce.
