“Wanting to share my passion and knowledge of Korean cuisine is what sparked the idea of starting The Korean Pantry.
Korean food is more than a fabulous mix of delicious dishes. It is food that is good for your health and your soul.
By showing you how to make kimchi and other dishes, I will share more than recipes with you. There will be culture facts, history, personal anecdotes, travel stories and above all, great fun.
I will soon share with you more classes I will organise, from making kimbap to a full 5 courses Korean meal. Stay tuned !”
Chef Cindy Robert
First, let’s start with a dish which is always one of the main features on a Korean table : join me to learn how to make delicious Kimchi!
I will show you how to prep the Kimchi cabbage and will talk you through the process of fermenting. You will then make your own Kimchi and take it home! I will also tell you about other types of Kimchi and how to enjoy them.
This is a FULLY HANDS-ON class : you will make kimchi and have plenty of time to ask questions.
At the end of the class, I will cook a lunch for you to enjoy the wonders of freshly made Kimchi.
[If you have any dietary requirement, let me know and I will cook something else at the end of the class]
